Cyprus to develop EUR250million industrial port in Vasiliko

The Government of Cyprus, through the Ministry of Transport, is set to develop a new EUR250 million (US$282.93 million) industrial port in Vasiliko. 

The Ministry is in the process of appointing a consultant to prepare the tender documents for the project that will be developed under design-build-finance-operate-transfer (DBFOT) method of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investment scheme. 

The Government aims to start the construction of the project the soonest time possible.
