CVC, a global private markets manager focused on private equity, secondaries and credit, has acquired a majority stake in DIF Capital Partners.
This strategic purchase grants CVC access to a prominent infrastructure platform, situated in close proximity and harmonizing effectively with its current private equity, secondary, and credit strategies. Furthermore, this acquisition expedites the expansion of DIF, which will maintain its identity as DIF and preserve its autonomy regarding operations and investment choices. This merger established a worldwide private markets management firm with seven harmonious strategies and around EUR177 billion (USD189,862 million) in total assets under management. Partnering with CVC will facilitate an expedited expansion for DIF, as it continues to broaden its investment expertise, expand its geographical presence, and enhance its global investor network.
The transaction is subject to regulatory and other consents and is expected to close in Q4 2023 or Q1 2024.
