Crosslinx Transit Solutions released a statement that the launching of the Eglinton Crosstown light railway project will be delayed until 2022.
CTS has started the development of the project off-schedule after the contract award was delayed for nine months. The company has also discovered minor defects that need to be addressed under the TTC station box at Eglinton-Yonge station.
Metrolinx, Infrastructure Ontario, and CTS are expecting to put the project into operational by 2022.
