CSCEC withdrew bid to acquire Probuild

China State Construction Engineering Corp (CSCEC) has withdrawn its AUD 300 million (US$ 232 million) bid to acquire an Australian construction company Probuild. CSCEC withdrew its bid following the advice that the Australian government would not approve the transaction.
