CSCEC awarded PPP Project for Utility Tunnels in Shiyan

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (CSCEC) has recently won the bid for Shiyan Utility Tunnel PPP project in China.

The project is located in Shiyan, one of the first pilot cities to build utility tunnels in China. Works on the project will cover the construction of new utility tunnels of 51.5km and two control centers. The tunnels will carry utility lines such as electricity, water and sewer pipes.

The contract has a total value estimated at RMB3.55 billion (US$544.6 million).

Last month we reported that CSCEC won the tender process for the FAW-Volkswagen (Qingdao) East China Manufacture Base PPP project and the tender process for the Zheng'an-Xi'shui Expressway PPP project in Guizhou Province, both in China.
