The government of Côte d'Ivoire has given permission to Fluence to begin the construction works of a water treatment plant on the reservoir of Lagune Aghien near Abidjan. The plant will have the capacity to process 150,000 cubic meters of surface water per day with suitable technology such as a membrane system and advanced oxidation to clean up algae and other contaminants.
Israel Discount Bank has also confirmed that final conditions precedent has been met giving permission to the project owner to start construction works. Contractor Vinci Construction has already starting mobilizing the resources to start construction works. The construction works will take 24 months to finish.
