The Municipality of Corsica has launched a re-tender for the development of Porto Vecchio port with the new deadline extended to July 22, 2019.
The selected concessionaire will be responsible for the design, financing, implementation, operation, maintenance, management (technical, administrative and financial) and major maintenance renewal of the project - extension of the marina and fishing port of Porto-Vecchio.
The concessionaire will have to ensure the realization of the principal investments allowing the extension and the protection of the body of water as well as the creation of new medians and the development of the terrestrial spaces for the corresponding nautical activities (dry port, technical zone , refueling, etc.) and the needs of port users (services, where appropriate, shops, parking lots, pathways, etc.). It will have to take care of all the administrative authorizations related to the project and, if necessary, request the transfer of the existing administrative authorizations to its benefit while taking over all or part of the obligations of the municipality. Applicants for the award of the concession contract will have to be able to take ownership of the project.
