Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Ltd. said it has agreed to buy Speed Fibre DAC from the Irish Infrastructure Fund for an enterprise value of EUR190.5 million (US$205.6 million).
Cordiant Capital Inc. oversees Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, a dedicated investor in digital infrastructure. Speed Fibre manages an extensive network of 5,400 km of broadband fiber and wireless backhaul in Ireland, combining owned and leased resources. The cost of acquisition, totalling EUR97 million (US$104.6 million), will be covered by Cordiant Digital Infrastructure. This funding comprises EUR 68 million(US$73 million) in cash and a EUR 29 million(US$31 million) vendor loan note, carrying an initial interest rate of 6% and a 4-year term.
