State-owned Copel has announced intention to auction its telecommunications business later in 2020. The document containing the information about the asset and schedule will be available soon.
Copel serves across 395 cities and 1,113 locations in the State of Paraná. The company also provides telecommunication services to corporate clients, including supermarkets, universities, banks, Internet service providers, and television networks, as well as to retail clients, middle schools.
The company expects to raise BRL 1.6 billion (US$ 0.27 billion) to BRL 1.8 billion (US$ 0.30 billion) from the auction.
