A private investment promotion agency (Proinversión) has announced that Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru issued an opinion in favor of the final version of the contract for the Hospital of High Complexity public-private partnership (PPP) project in Piura and the Hospital of High Complexity PPP project in Nueva Chimbote.

The conclusion for the contract was issued after receiving the opinion of FONAFE on budgetary possibilities and the positive opinion of ESSALUD. The projects will be completed with a net investment of over SGD1,200 million (US$909,083). To obtain a preliminary opinion, the contract will be sent to the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR). After the conclusion, the date for the submission of technical proposals and economic proposals for the award of the project will be announced, which will be held in Q1 of 2023. 

4 applicants from America and Asia who have passed the preliminary selection are eligible to participate in the international tender for the delivery of both projects.
