San Pablo City Water District (SPCWD) in the Philippines has signed a concession contract for the development of the Septage Treatment Facility in San Pablo to the joint venture (JV) of JZ Aguiba Construction and Technical Services and Cornelius Construction.
The private partner will finance, design, build, and operate & maintain the facility. The project involves the development of a fully mechanized Septage Treatment Facility with a rated capacity of 70 cubic meters per day (CMD), desludging tanker trucks with a capacity of 5 m3 and 10 m3 as well as provision of ancillary facilities.
The concession period of the project is 25 years including the construction period. The estimated investment value for the project is PHP110.8 million (US$2.11 million).
