Red Sea Global has appointed ILF Consulting Engineers for the implementation phase of the Red Sea multi-utility project in Saudi Arabia.
The US$1.5 billion project is being developed under the public-private partnership (PPP) model by a consortium led by Saudi utility developer Acwa Power. ILF served as the PPP scheme's technical advisor during the phase of tendering that led to an agreement for a utility concession. Red Sea Global continues to receive advice from the ILF Consulting Engineers.
When finished, the project will supply 16 hotels, an international airport, and the infrastructure that makes up Phase One of The Red Sea destination in Saudi Arabia with renewable power, potable water, wastewater treatment, district cooling, and solid waste treatment services.
