Skanska has signed a contract with developer Andenæs Eiendom worth US$38.5 million to build the next phase of the ‘Helgerudkvartalet’ urban development in Sandvika, Norway.
The contract is worth NOK410 million (US$39 million) which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the Q1 of 2023. In this project phase, there will be a mixed-use structure with 8,500 sq m of residential space and 8,200 sq m of commercial space. The lower floors include shops and restaurants, and the higher floors contain three residential towers with 86 apartments.
Construction is scheduled to start in December 2023 and completion is scheduled for the Q4 of 2025.
