Bangladesh Railways has signed a Concession Agreement with United Group to build a 500-bed multi-specialty hospital and a 100 seat medical college under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) at an estimated cost of over BDT 3.98 billion (US$ 46 million).
As per the Agreement, United Group will set up the hospital and a medical college on PPP basis on railway owned property in Chattogram. The hospital will provide healthcare services to Bangladesh Railway employees at a discounted rate.
