The Facilities Management department of the government of Hanover, a city in northern Germany, has published a contract notice for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of an elementary school, including a sports hall and the outdoor space on-site, under a PPP model. The new school will house the existing Buchholz-Kleefeld II elementary school.
The selected private partner will commence work in February 2020, with the buildings scheduled to go into operation in late 2021. The PPP contract will expire in April 2042.
The deadline to respond to the contract notice is 7 November 2018. For more information, see the Business Opportunity. The department plans to invite between three and six respondents to submit proposals for the project by 3 December 2018.
