The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI), has disclosed the terms and conditions of the contract modification request process submitted by the Cenit Transport and Logistics Company of Hydrocarbons SAS (Pozos Colorados Maritime Terminal ) in Colombia.
The 20-year contract extension ensures a reliable supply of Diesel and fuel derivatives. Pozos Colorados, the sole port in Colombia connected to pipelines leading to Barrancabermeja and beyond, plays a vital role in nationwide distribution. A significant investment of US$141 million will enhance the terminal's capacity, including the implementation of advanced weather forecasting. Additionally, the installation of a new monobuoy will accommodate larger vessels for hydrocarbon imports, meeting the country's growing demand.
