Contract awarded for Tinian International Airport construction project in Northern Mariana Islands

Tutor Perini Corporation has announced that Black Micro Corp. (a unit of Black Construction Corporation), has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract valued at US$222 million by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific for construction at Tinian International Airport, Tinian, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), USA.

The selected contractor will be responsible for the construction of a cargo pad with a taxiway extension, fuel tanks equipped with a receipt pipeline and hydrant system, airfield development Phase I roads, and a maintenance support facility. The work is set to commence immediately, and it is anticipated that substantial completion will be achieved by October 2026.
