Private investment promotion agency (Proinversión) in Peru has awarded the concession for debut school bundle to Concesionaria de Proyectos de Infraestructura Sucursal Perú.

The concessionaire will be responsible for design, financing, construction and equipping three high-performance schools located in the districts of Chontabamba (Pasco), Callqui Grande (Huancavelica) and Oropesa (Cusco). The concession period for the project is 20 years. Apart from school infrastructure, the concessionaire will also replace furniture and equipment, student meals, laundry services, surveillance and security, as well as provide comprehensive cleaning, waste management and pest control in schools.

The construction work for the project is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023 and schools will start operation in the second half of 2025.
