Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has awarded a Letter of Acceptance to Ashoka Buildcon Limited for the Sewage Treatment Plants PPP project in India.
The company will be responsible for the design, construction and commission of fully automated package or modular sewage treatment plants based on MBR technology along the Poisar river for 36 months (3 years). In addition, the project includes 15 years of operation and maintenance and provision of auxiliary infrastructure, such as sewer network, interceptors, service road and roadside drains on either bank of the river.
The acceptance offer of the project is INR10,46 billion (US$140 million).
