Kimlun Sdn Bhd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kimlun Corporation Bhd, has been awarded the contract for the development of the road project in Malaysia by Samling Resources Sdn Bhd.
The road project will connect Sarawak and Sabah, which is part of the Lawas-Long Lopeng Junction. The contract is given for construction and maintenance and is worth MYR780 million (US$186.51 million).
The construction works are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
