The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has awarded Californian contractor Granite a US$48 million contract for reconstruction work on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County, California, USA.
Under the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) contract, Granite is responsible for the reconstruction of a 10.9-mile stretch of Highway 101. Currently, work is underway on segments 4C and 4B, which are progressing as scheduled and are anticipated to be finished by 2023 and 2024, respectively.
