The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) has awarded the contract for PY12 route works in Paraguay.

The contractor companies proposed to be awarded are:

• For Lot 1, the TEC Consortium, (Tocsa SA, Ecomipa SA and Concrete Mix SA);
• For Lot 2, the AVANZA CHACO Consortium (Construpar SA – Tecnoedil SA Constructora – Ocho A SA);
• For Lot 3, Consorcio VIAL CHACO (Weell. Co SA - Teco SRL); and
• For Lot 4, the CHACO SUR Consortium (Mm SA- Tecnología Del Sur SAE - Proel Ingenieria de Augusto Ortellado Narváez - Compañía De Construcciones Civiles SA).

The official award will be determined by ministerial resolution during the standstill period of 10 business days following notifications to all bidders who took part in the call; alternatively, conflicts will be addressed in accordance with the IDB guidelines, financing entity of the works.
