Société du Grand Paris in France has awarded the contract for the development of operation and maintenance building for the Paris metro line 18 to Vinci construction in France.
The building will be developed on a 64,000 square meters site located in Palaiseau, Southern Paris. It will have a central control room, a maintenance base and depot for the automatic metro line’s trains, and an infrastructure maintenance base.
Vinci Construction will be responsible for the provision of roadworks and utility networks, earthworks, structure, envelope, finishing work, technical installations, and industrial equipment. The estimated contract value is EUR82 million (US$89.11 million).
