The Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced that Link Developments Ltd of Regina has been selected to construct and maintain the new Regina General Hospital (RGH) parkade in Canada.
The upcoming RGH parkade will be situated in the northwest area of the current visitor parking lot, introducing 686 new parking spaces to the existing facility. The proposed design encompasses a total of 1,005 parking spots, with 873 within the parkade and 132 on the surface.
Link Developments Ltd, chosen through a two-stage procurement process, will oversee the project. They have prior experience in constructing notable parkades, including the heated parkade at Eastgate Centre - Medical Professional Building in Regina, the University of Saskatchewan stadium parkade, and the Avenue P Medical office building in Saskatoon. Construction is scheduled to commence in September 2023 and is anticipated to conclude by the end of 2024.
