The Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Grandview Kids have awarded a fixed-price contract of US$85.3 million to Children First Consortium for the development of the Grandview Children’s Centre Redevelopment project in Ajax, Canada.

The selected team will be responsible for the design, construction and finance of the project and consists of the following companies:

• Applicant and Construction team: Amico Design Build Inc., Sacyr Construction S.A;
• Design Team: Parkin Architects, H.H. Angus and Associates Limited;
• Financial Advisor: Stonebridge Financial Corporation.

Design work on the project will begin in April 2022, followed by construction in September 2022. The treatment center is expected to be completed in spring 2024.
