Albanian Development Fund has awarded a contract for the construction of a new harbor in the city of Shkodra, Albania. The initial estimated total value of the contract is EUR1.07 million (US$1.14 million) and the total value of the contract is EUR804,472 (US$860,833).

The Works to be carried out under the Contract includes:

• Rehabilitation of the existing harbor:

  • Partial demolition
  • Removal of old concrete
  • Reconstruction
  • Construction of structures with piles for the contouring of the pier
  • Preparation, drilling, anchoring, placement, and reinforcement of piles
  • Installation of beams on the piles
  • Tiling and wall lighting

• Supply and installation of the floating deck:

  • Ramp
  • Mechanism

• Hydrotechnical works for wastewater discharge locations outside the project area.
