Contract Awarded for 59.4 km Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) Extension Project
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has given its Notice of Award for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the Tarlac - Pangasinan - La Union Expressway (TPLEX) Extension Project to San Miguel Corporation (SMC).
The TPLEX Extension will run from Rosario to San Juan in La Union, with planned interchanges in the towns of Rosario, Tubao, Naguilian, Bauang, and finally in the surfing town of San Juan. The project will be built in 3 segments:
- 18 km between Rosario and Tubao for Segment 1;
- 23 km between Tubao and Naguilian for Segment 2; and
- the last 18.4 km between Naguilian, Bauang and San Juan for Segment 3.
