Contract award for desalination plant in Alice

The city of Alice in Texas, USA has awarded the concession for a desalination plant to Seven Seas Water Corporation. The project involves the development of a desalination plant with a capacity of 3 million gallons per day and options for expansion. The concessionaire will be responsible for the design, build, finance, own, and operation of the plant. The concession period for the project is 15 years.

The construction work for the project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
