Dublin Port Company has opened a final public consultation on the Third and Final Masterplan (3FM) project needed to complete the development of Dublin Port and bring it to its ultimate and final capacity by 2040 in Ireland.

Dublin Port Company's planned work on the Poolbeg Peninsula includes a new road with a lifting bridge, a container terminal and a sea sports center. The 3FM project follows on from the 1st two Masterplan phases focused on the Port lands north of the bay – Alexandra Basin Redevelopment which is nearing completion and MP2 which has recently commenced construction. Prior to submitting a planning application in the summer of 2023, Dublin Port Company has been working to prepare detailed drawings and environmental analyses. The Dublin Port team will have the opportunity to discuss the plans with local residents over a number of Public Information Days in Poolbeg, Ringsend, and Clontarf during this most recent phase of consultation.

The consultation period will end on April 28, 2023. The whole project's anticipated completion date is 2039, assuming a start date of 2026.
