The Government of Djibouti (GoDj) has launched requests for expression of interest (RFEOIs) notice seeking to appoint transaction advisors and legal advisors for the Djibouti Affordable Housing project. GoDj has appointed IFC as an advisor on the structuring of the transaction and to attract a private developer to finance, construct, manage and maintain affordable housing units.
Under the concession, affordable housing units will be developed in Balbala Sud located approximately 10 km away from the Djibouti city center. The PPP project aims to address housing shortages in Djibouti. With these RFEOIs, the authority aims to utilize the services of a legal consultant and transaction advisor during the following two phases:
The deadline to submit the proposals for both RFEOIs is May 16, 2022.
