Netivei Israel (also known as the National Transport Infrastructure Company) has published a tender for consultancy and management services for the preparation of a public-private partnership (PPP) concerning the construction and operation of an international airport.
The airport will serve civil and military functions, supplementing Ben Gurion Airport, the primary international gateway to Israel, located 45 km northwest of Jerusalem and 20km southeast of Tel Aviv.
The selected consultant will prepare an operational-financial model for the PPP project, manage all required regulatory proceedings with government authorities and manage the tender process for the selection of a concessionaire, including the preparation of tender documents.
The duration of the consultancy assignment shall be 99 months (eight years, three months). Bids are invited until 27 May 2019.
