Consultants shortlisted for Affordable housing PPP project in Bhutan

Asian Development Bank (ADB) has shortlisted consultants for the affordable housing PPP project in Bhutan. It involves the development of 1,000 rental housing units in Nganglam, Phuentsholing, Samdrup Jongkhar, Samtse, Thimphu, and Trashiyangtse.

The shortlisted technical consultants are :

  • AARC Ltd, Egis India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd., and Egis International JV;
  • Affordable Housing Institute and Maxwell Stamp JV;
  • Ernst & Young LLP;
  • GlobalWorks International Corporation;
  • Groupe Huit S.A.S. and SCE JV;
  • ICF Consulting Services Limited.

The shortlisted teams/companies shall submit the proposals by March 21, 2022.

    Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide US$120.5 million in a mix of loans and grants to build a run-of-the-river hydropower plant in central Bhutan though a public-private partnership (PPP).
