Providence Health Care, a non-profit organisation operating in British Columbia, south-west Canada has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for wayfinding consulting services for the St. Paul’s Hospital & Health Care Centre Redevelopment Project.
St. Paul’s Hospital has become a renowned acute care, teaching and research hospital, serving more than 174,000 patients annually, who account for over 500,000 visits per year. Recognizing the constraints and issues associated with the current St. Paul’s Hospital site, Providence Health Care acquired an 18.38-acre parcel of land in 2004, referred to as the Station Street site located on the False Creek Flats in Vancouver, and has been planning for the new hospital and health campus since that time.
The redevelopment is planned to be delivered by a private party through a Design Build or Design Build Finance and Maintain contract.
This RFP is seeking a consultant to develop a new wayfinding strategic plan for the project. A first draft of the plan is to be completed by June 2019, with the final completion date set at 19 August 2019.
The RFP closing date is 19 March 2019.
