Consultant sought for Kigali Informal Settlements Upgrading Project

Rwanda’s City of Kigali has invited consulting firms to express interest in carrying out detailed engineering design and works supervision for more than 24 social infrastructure facilities and public spaces under its Kigali Informal Settlements Upgrading Project.

The project aims to enhance service accessibility for the Kagugu and Rwezamenyo/Nyakabanda populations, focusing on mobility, public spaces, urban services, and basic infrastructure. The project is divided into two lots as follows:

  • Lot 1: Detailed engineering design and construction supervision for public spaces, including nurseries, primary and secondary schools, health posts, administrative offices, community libraries, neighborhood markets, etc.
  • Lot 2: Detailed engineering design and construction supervision of multi-use green public spaces, playgrounds, water distribution points, etc.

EOI must be delivered through the Rwanda e-procurement portal by 09h30 (local time) on December 25, 2023. More information about this tender can be found on our Business Opportunity page here.
