Transport for New South Wales has appointed SNC-Lavalin to deliver engineering services for the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and the new Western Harbour Tunnel in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

SNC-Lavalin will provide a range of engineering services to support Ventia, the Asset Management Services provider for both tunnels, under a long-term services agreement. The aim is to have an effective transition of existing operations of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel to Ventia, before the tunnel is operational in September 2022. SNC-Lavalin will also support Ventia during the procurement, design and construction phases of the Western Harbour Tunnel, including through systems engineering and digital asset management.
