Consultancy tender launched for West Yorkshire mass transit

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority has launched a tender notice seeking business case partner/s for its mass transit system. The consultant will develop all future business casework associated with Mass Transit and establish a Framework. The GBP25 million (US$33.70 million) Framework will be for an initial two-year term with three 12-month optional extensions to be applied annually up to a maximum of three years.

The contract is divided into three following lots:

  1. LOT 1 is valued at GBP20 million (US$26.96 million) and involves services of Business Case Development, Funding Bid Development, Transport Modelling, Economic / Carbon Appraisal and Expert Witness;
  2. LOT 2 is valued at GBP3 million (US$4.04 million) and involves services of Stakeholder Management, Consultation, Engagement and Objection Management;
  3. LOT 3 is valued at GBP2 million (US$2.69 million) and involves service of Client-Side Management.
