Ministry of public works and communications in Paraguay has announced starting of repair works for the Yberá de San Lorenzo bridge, which provides connection over the San Lorenzo stream. The authority has closed the interior Asunción section of the bridge in order to facilitate the works.

The project is in charge of Hugo Navarro y Asociados, which will implement repair and expansion works for the bridge as well as construct drainage to replace the damaged structure. The construction works are scheduled to be completed within two months.
