National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) of Colombia, in association with Duque Government, has signed a commencement act for the 5G Avenida Longitudinal de Occidente (ALO) Sur concession, permitting the Plural Structure ALO Sur consortium to begin construction works.
The consortium is formed by Concay SA, Coherpa Ingenieros Constructores SAS, Mario Alberto Huertas Cotes and Pavimentos Colombia SAS, each with a 25% stake. The project has an estimated investment of COP1.17 billion (US$311 million). The consortium will begin construction works for the project, which includes the development of 24.5 km road between Chusacá (Soacha) and Calle 13 in Fontibón and the construction of two vehicular bridges over the Bogotá River as well as the construction of nearly 10 km of cycle path and public spaces.
