The Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (MTOP) has reactivated the construction of the Pedernales hospital project in Manabí, Ecuador.

In February 2022, the construction works were suspended due to a lack of accreditation in the payroll payment. The works are now resumed once the payment of US$1.47 million was completed. Currently, construction works are implemented in the following fields: architecture, electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical systems for medicinal gases, LPG, steam, and condensate.

The project involves the development of a 30-bed hospital that will benefit a population of more than 80,000 people. The total investment value of the project is US$18 million.
