The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) in Colombia has announced the completion of the two sections of the 495 km Antioquia - Bolívar road Ruta al Mar concession, which amounts to 80.52% of progress on construction works.
The section in Sucre has seen a total of 56 kilometers completed, including 16.5 km of road improvement between Tolú and Toluviejo, 21.4 km of new road between Tolú-Pita Abajo-El Pueblito, 5.70 km of the new track of the Tolú Airport Perimeter and 12.40 km of repair of the existing track between Coveñas and Tolú. While in Córdoba, a total of 70.2 kilometers has been completed, including about 12 km of the second road between Cereté and Lorica, 5.6 km of the new track of the Cereté variant, 34.8 km of improvement between Cereté and Lorica and 17.8 km of improvement between Lorica and Coveñas.
The river bridges completed in these sections have a new Operations Control Center (CCO) with new signaling equipment as well as pavement demarcation and lateral containment elements.
