The Philippines Public Private Partnership Center Agency has announced the project completion of the Southwest terminal of the Integrated Transport System (ITS) in Philippines.
The Southwest Terminal is within a site area of 4.59 ha. It connects all provincial buses from Cavite to other modes of transport serving Metro Manila such as buses, taxis, app-based transport, and a walkway to the future LRT 1 South Extension Parañaque City.
The project was implemented by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) using a Build-Transfer-Operate (BOT) arrangement. The new facilities are operational since November 8, 2019. The contractor will also operate and maintain the terminal for a period of 35 years.
