Construction started for Bulacan bulk water supply PPP project

Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System has announced the beginning of construction for the Bulacan bulk water supply PPP project in the Philippines.

The civil works of the project include the laying of a 65 km pipeline consisting of 600–1500 mm steel pipe, 400–500 mm ductile iron pipe and 300 mm Ø PVC pipe, which will be laid along the existing Quirino Highway, Tungkong Mangga – Muzon Road, Villarica – Marilao Road and towards Mac Arthur Highway from the junction at Obando to Calumpit.

The project will provide bulk water to the 13 municipalities in the province of Bulacan with 388 million liters per day.
