The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has announced that 36.21% of the work has been completed for four lanes of the Khed-Sinnar section of NH-50 in Maharashtra, India.
The four-laning project of the Khed Sinnar section of NH50 is a 137.946 km project that is being implemented under NHDP Phase IV on a DBFOT basis. The project is expected to be completed by August 2023 and will cost INR1348.20 Crore (USD189 Million). The project will expedite the improvement of infrastructure in the state of Maharashtra and also reduce the time and cost of travel for traffic, particularly heavy traffic, plying between Khed and Sinnar.
The project is being implemented by Khed Sinnar Expressway Ltd. and the Independent Engineer is Infra Consultants Pvt Ltd. The project is being funded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
