The Ministry of Transport and Public Works of Ecuador has announced the 88% construction progress for Latacunga - La Maná E-30 road public-private partnership (PPP) project.
The US$14.8 million project involves the construction of the Latacunga - La Maná E-30 road in Cotopaxi, Ecuador. The project includes the creation of a paved road, protective walls and signs. The project between Pujili (Cotopaxi) and Quevedo (Los Rios) will reduce travel time by about 45 minutes. The placement of the beams on the 40-m Tinieblas Bridge is one of the final stages of this work.
The intervention of carriers in the project helps the economy, reduces travel time, ensures the safety of users during transfers and saves fuel. The project will also create 300 jobs, helping to improve the country's economy.
