The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has announced the completion of 50% of construction works for the Azotey – Yby Yaú – Pedro Juan Caballero highway section.
The section is part of PY05 and PY08 highways. The scope of works includes rehabilitation of highway, asphalt layer, crack sealing, pavement milling for punctual patching, and cleaning of the domain strip.
The project is being financed by Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with an investment of PYG53 billion (US$7.47 million). The project´s concessionaire is a consortium formed by Rovial and Caldetec.
