Bollore Group, the construction contractor for the 600-km Niamey-Parakou railway link in Benin and Niger, has halted the works due to an order issued in late November by a court in Benin.
The dispute is about the rival groups claiming that the Government of Benin had awarded the rail concession to them before Bollore. The construction works started in April 2015.
