Contracting authority 2TDK in Slovenia has selected Markomark Nival, Nival Invest and Ekorel consortium for building bridging structures, two bridges and a gallery across the Glinščica Valley in the construction of the Koper-Divača Rail Line Track Doubling PPP project.
According to the contract, the consortium must prepare project documentation at the PZI level within four months of its introduction and then submit it for review and approval. After reviewing the project documentation, the contractors will be introduced to the execution of the construction work. According to the current timeline, the construction of two bridges and a gallery across the Glinščica Valley would begin at the end of August this year and end at the end of November 2021.
As the construction of facilities in the Glinščica Valley is one of the preparatory works, it will be co-financed with European grants in the amount of up to 85% of the eligible costs that Slovenia received under the Connecting Europe Facility.
