Lane, the USA subsidiary of the Webuild Group, has won a US$357 million contract to upgrade the Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB) in Panama City, Florida, the USA.
Lane will be responsible for the site development, design and construction of roadways, fencing, lighting, parking, water, wastewater, electrical, stormwater, communications, fire protection infrastructure and other related works. The project intends to make the base more resistant to heavy storms.
The construction work is expected to begin in the summer of 2022 and conclude mid-year 2026.
