Megawide Construction Corp., along with its joint venture partners, Tokyu Construction and Tobishima Corp., has secured a PHP17.8 billion (US$339.72 million) contract to construct the two stations of the Phase 1 Metro Manila Subway PPP project.
The scope of the work includes the construction of underground stations in Ortigas North and Ortigas South as well as the tunnels connecting these two locations. The project is financed through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) by an ODA loan and is expected to be completed in 2028.
