Construction contract awarded for Paris Metro line 18 PPP project

Société du Grand Paris has awarded a EUR80.9 million (US$86.48 million) contract to Chantiers Modernes Construction (VINCI Construction) to build three overhead stations located on the viaduct of the future Line 18 of the Grand Paris Express in Paris, France. 

The company will be responsible for the civil engineering and structural works, the envelope including a metal frame and the facades, in addition to finishing works for the Palaiseau, Orsay-Gif and CEA Saint-Aubin (Essonne) stations.

The construction work is expected to begin in July 2022 and is planned to be completed within 38 months.
